Opportunity: Training on International Water Law in Africa
A training on International Water Law (IWL) is being organized in Kampala, Uganda this summer. The training is organized jointly by the Global Water Partnership (GWP), the University of Dundee (UK), Mekerere University (Uganda), the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the African Network for Basin Organizations (ANBO).
The experiences and lessons learnt will be used as a pilot to develop a 5-year-long (2016-2020) training programme on IWL, with the aim to improve transboundary water management in Africa.
The training will take place 3-5 August – funding is available for interested participants.
